Reset Body, Mind & Reset Body, Mind & Life with a Fit Chillout–Take some time off for yourself to recharge with a getaway in Bali. Get fit, relax, and come back refreshed for the new year.

This would be the truth if not one tiny fact—many of us feel that we would be selfish or lazy if we spend time on self-development. We believe that until everyone else and everything else is attended to first, we cannot look after ourselves. I know, it’s crazy to say it out loud, as it would be equal to knowing it and therefore agreeing to it.

What shall we do, then? What is the way to be kind and effective, and to stop harming ourselves?

I thought about it, and through observing my client’s progress, psychology research, coaching strategies and common knowledge, I would say: Let’s Act.

I would add, with 100 percent honesty, Hillel the Elder’s words: ‘If not us, who? If not now, when?’

The ACTION I mean is to bring awareness, and use compassion and kindness. Not only to others but to ourselves as well. Breath, see and feel; wake up your senses—allow your consciousness to notice thoughts coming and going though your head; discover what stops your body from being in a relaxed state, how limitations affect your mind. Take ACTION to make healthy changes improving your lifestyle.
